INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION:

  • If you know what you want to study and want to see the options from around the world, try Bachelorsportal by studyportals. They do not list everyone, but it might give you some ideas.

UK:

  • UCAS – start with Course Finder: make sure you check for your qualifications

USA:

  • College Board Big Future  – huge list of US colleges: a great place to start your research

  • SAT – you can learn more and register for the test

  • Looking for help with your list? Try Unigo – interesting and interactive it might give you some new ideas

  • Want to see the campuses? Try eCampusTours – over 1300 schools to look at to give you some new ideas

RANKINGS (Remember, many of these are newspapers ranking colleges and that you aren’t going to get the same results on all of the sites – choose carefully)


World Rankings

  • QS – one of the best-known rankings in the world that we use at TIS

  • Times Higher Education – one of the best-known rankings in the world

  • ARWU - Shanghai ranking

  • 4icu – the most comprehensive list of schools we have found. We’re not sure of their criteria

US Rankings

  • US News – many different colleges

  • Niche – some interesting “different” rankings

Canadian Rankings

  •  MacLean’s – Canada is ranked by 3 categories: Medical Doctoral, Comprehensive, and Primarily Undergraduate
